AVP of Business Development

Location: Nationwide

We are looking to add one or more Business Development Associates to join our growing team.
We are a team of young, energetic entrepreneurs who have created an exciting and unique software that will change the way organizations work. An ideal team member will be someone who is energetic, creative, interested in sales, confident, able to work independently, strategic and unafraid to cold contact companies and sales targets in the NY/SF area and nationwide. Our focus is on the real estate, education and business markets. We offer industry best commission rates and a fun working environment with unmatched flexibility in your schedule. We are open to both Full time, and Part time/internship opportunities.

Business Development Associate, Job Duties:

  • Research, Identify and create new accounts.
  • Reach and exceed set sales targets.
  • Deliver proposals and effective presentations to client executives.
  • Network with your preexisting network and create new networks for client expansion.
  • Negotiate pricing and close sales deals.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analysis.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information.
  • Manage and maintain new and existing client accounts.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree
  • Outgoing personality
  • Some sales experience, preferably client facing in Real Estate, Education or B2B
  • Desire to be part of an growing, new and profitable start up firm
  • Connections within the Real Estate, Education or General Business areas (you will be using your network as well as creating new networks)

Compensation:

This role generally does not involve a base salary, though you will receive an unmatched - very generous commission percentage on each deal. Base salary will be considered for those who prove success after a trial period.
