Aleksander Popel

Baltimore, Maryland

apopel@jhu.edu

In models and simulations, Dr. Popel is a good lecturer, despite being somewhat soft-spoken. In a class that is over an hour, it is difficult to keep students interested, but Dr. Popel seems to do a fair job with that. Dr. Popel's expertise inspires confidence in the material that he presents. His comments on the applications of the concepts learned in class remind students of the value of the heavy math and physics.
Dr. Popel is my advisor and he's very helpful in making good decisions towards picking classes for my major. He also listens and acts like he does care about how I'm doing in school and being stress free.
