Professor Beer is personable and very knowledgeable on the latest in his field. I don't see him often around campus or at BME events, I wish I had more chances to interact with him. From what I have observed, he seems like a great mentor. For example, his student recently received a prestigious reward. I think he is a great asset to the BME program.

    Dr. Beer is super funny and he keeps lectures interesting. Some of his lectures tend to be long and monotone, but overall, he is a great professor. His lectures are also detailed enough that you can catch up on missed lessons or lectures you slept through :) he also records all of his lectures which is super helpful!

    Dr. Beer is an awesome guy and really good to talk to after class. He's very knowledge on his material, and is always willing to talk to his students. Definitely cares.

    Dr. Beer is the coolest human being on earth. He is so chill and I can talk to him anywhere- in the gym, classroom, or just bumping in to him on campus. He genuinely cares about helping me and has a lot of great advice. He is also a thorough and fair teacher who taught me so much about Thermodynamics.
