I had Maxim for Calculus II for Engineering and Physics, and he gave very clear, enthusiastic lectures. He is open to helping students and relates the theoretical to the practical, if asked. Definitely loves math. He's an avid rock climber too. The homework problems he assigns are reasonable and lead to a good understanding of the material. His exams were fair and he ample material to review for the exams.
